Weight savings is nominal, and the rate of the spring would be the same (a 500# steel spring will have the same rate as a 500# Ti spring.)

Ti springs are big $$$$ and you barely a lbs. . so unless your world cup racer Ti spring are over rated .
save your money for gas or something much more fun for your bike .

If you're looking to save weight that you'll really feel, rotating mass is where you want to cut it from. Tires & or tubes are a good first place to start.

The only reason I was even thinking about them was that I had heard somewhere that they are a bit more progressive than steel ones.
