I heard there is a listserve called something like greasy chain in the upper valley. If so, please tell me about it at laurasim@juno.com.

I am interested in finding people to ride with. I'll start back outside as soon as it is over 30 degrees and ice free. In the spring I will ride mostly weekends and a little after 6:00 in Hanover. When school is out I will ride after 4:00 in the Claremont area (hard to say if I can keep up with the Cycle Depot rides). Starting in the spring weekends I do 50+ rides and I really like touring. In the summer I have some day time week day times. I probably typically ride under 12 miles per hour. If you want to discuss trying rides together contact me. Laura laurasim@juno.com

I ride with the group on Mon. and Thurs. and our group stays to get at about a 19 mile an hour average. There are most times however a second group that goes out as well, they ride it at more your pace and would be a great place to start. As you can see too there are spin groups at the shop on Fri. nights bring your own bike and they will hook you up with a trainer to spin on. Keep an eye on the post for when we start riding in the spring and in the mean time see you at the spin group.

Thanks Green Mountain Man. I finally checked the responce to my post. I did join a friday spin which you know if you were there. Too bad I woun't be able to make another Friday, unless you are still doing it in April. Thanks for the info on the rides from Cycle Depot. When they restart I'll have to ask about the second group that goes out. I can go faster so I'll have to see but I assume I would not keep up with the racer group. Laura
