I wondered where you got that info from... Is that from your 305?

A "1 mile" DH run is pretty good for starters!

Yup, the 305. You can upload the info to the Garmin website, and it throws it all into cool graphs and charts for you.

I dunno if this will work but give it a try....

7:58 for a time... you were obviously stopping...

and 13 feet of elevation gain is less than I would have guessed (not by much though). it's that slight up w/ the sweeping right hander just below the big berm and that's it for uphill...

nice! I think that's on the X-mas list!

Ya, for the $$ (even at retail) it is a HELL of a unit. If you want to borrow it for a ride and "test" it out, let me know, it is only 4 zip ties to install.

As for the time, I was just cruising down the hill (avg speed 6mph), only really stopped once as you can see from the sped graph. I think it will be a race run of 3.5min to 4min

I should know this b/c we sell them... but... I see that it has a tab for cadence and heart rate. Did your computer come w/ this or is that the other models?

Mine has the Cad. and Heart rate units. Heart rate strap is like a Polar one (don't know if a polar one would work), and the Cad. and physical speed sensor (in case there is limited GPS reception) are a non-driveside chainstay mounted wireless unit. I wasn't wearing the chest strap, and don't have the cadence magnet on my crank arm yet. I believe you can buy the 305 W/O the HR strap, the functionality is there, just not the strap. One of the coolest little things is that with the speed sensor, it automatically calibrates the sensor versus the GPS. So it is 100% plug and play.

That's cool, I didn't know that you could get a 305 "kitted" up w/ all that cool tech. It looks like it does everything that I would want it to. How hard is it to upload to your computer? And when you do upload the info, does it keep a tally of that info somewhere or does it start over every time?

It is almost too easy to upload. Just plug in, goto the website, and hit upload. You can (it will) keep track of EVERYTHING. I will show you the website someday.
